Anna Mathioudaki was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She began her musical education with guitar lessons, but soon switched her focus to singing, first studying contemporary and pop repertoire, following however her teacher’s advice, in 2013 she started exploring the classical repertoire, where she discovered her true passion.
In 2014, she enrolled in the National Conservatory of Athens and began studying with Fotini Kostopoulou. In 2017 she relocated to Belgium to pursue a bachelor’s degree where she was accepted into the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. She currently studies with Gary Jankowski.
She is an enthusiastic and active singer, having appeared both in Athens and Antwerp in various projects and performances both as a soloist and as a chorister. She recently performed the role of Emmie in the Britten opera “Albert Herring” and was selected to be a participant of the summer course “Art Campus” which culminated in performances of a scenic adaptation of the Monteverdi madrigal "Lamento d’Arianna" in the Megaron Athens Concert Hall. This year she will appear as Cercatrice I in Puccini’s “Suor Angelica” in Het Oude Badhuis in Antwerp and as a soloist in Mozart’s Requiem in Athens.
